Appointment Update

Well, we took Maddox for those yucky shots today....all went well though...there were lots of tears shed, but he is doing fabulous so far....(knock on wood, or plastic or whatever you can find to "knock" on) I just put him down for his nap, hopefully he will rest up so he can play hard when he gets up.

Here are the stats from today's appointment:

Head circumference 19 (off the charts)

Weight 26lbs 13 oz (90th percentile)

Height 30in (50th percentile)

All this to say I have a super smart (huge head for all those brains of course), Buddha Belly, short man!! hahhaha!!!

The nurse asked us if Maddox was saying at least 2-3 words...Brad and I just looked at each other and laughed. We stated "well, no, he only says "Cracker" " She just looked at us and asked, "well does he say "momma" or "dadda" " To that we responded, "well, he has babbled it before so we know he CAN say it, he just doesn't"

The Doctor said he is fine and since he is learning sign language so well, it is as though he is learning two languages and he will take off with it.

Maddox is healthy and full of those immunizations, so all is well in the Kalivoda house!!!

Update on the Fellers baby (bro and sis-in-law) she seems to be pretty happy inside her mommy right now and isn't making any progress too quickly, but Kameron and baby are both doing great and that is all that matters at this point!!!
