Hi/Lo Thursday

This is my first attempt at the Hi/Lo Thursday, but I wanted to get your attention to the website above. This family is amazing....their daughter is suffering from cancer and definitely need our prayers.

My "High" for this week would have to be watching Maddox become more independent and seeing a side of his personality I have never seen before. He plays by himself longer and it is so much fun to watch him at "work". He is so funny and loves to figure things out. It is so much fun to just sit back and watch him play with his toys, remotes and all the things he shouldn't be getting into. He has become so lovie these past few weeks, walking up and giving me hugs (usually around my legs) all throughout the day. He loves to help me clean, fold (well, he likes to unfold) laundry, and make the bed. I have been praying for peace and that I would have confidence in Christ on the decisions I make as a mother and this week I defiantly have felt that peace. I wonder why I wait so long to ask God to help me, I suppose its that stubbornness I hold so tightly!!!

My "Low" for this week would be not feeling like I can help my husband more than I do. I am so proud of him and how hard he works. Tax season has been busy as usual (which is great) but I know it is exhausting for him. I only wish I could help more and take away some of his stress. (oh how blessed we are that this is the "LO" of the week...we are so fortunate)
